Re: Millenia Fuel Use

I've got a misfire code I can't get rid of on mine, and the dealer initially told me to use premium (per the owner's manual), which I had been doing. However, I had to take it back in, and later they told me to use regular.

So, now I use regular. But, what happens when you use regular in a car designed for premium is that the ignition timing is retarded, and performance suffers.

At any rate, you don't have to, but it will help performance.

Cool MY 2 Sense

If you have a miller cycle motor, you need use premium cause of the compression. I've been told by many people when I was looking at the millenia. Which code is popping up?
