4wd won't engage. All that happens is the light on the 4wd button blinks.

most likely the front actuator is the culprit...there is a GM tech bulletin that updates the actuator and wiring harness

Had the same problem in my 97', all it was was a fuse. Had my local tire shop replace it and it works again..good luck.
