Post Brush guards......BAD!

A small contingent of PNWX members were up in the Harrison Hills area of BC this weeend when One of our members made a unscheduled offroad excursion! It was Perry's first time out. Stock tires on a snowy?icy logging road!

Exclamation Another view

The brush guard when it collpased hit the hood, cracked the grill, bent the fender which prohibited him from opening the drivers door!

Dam that sucks...that should now become the picture of choice when someone asks which brushguard should they buy to go offroad.

Yep, he would have had less damage with just the stock bumber and no brush gard! I bet the hood is expensive.

They says experience is the best teacher but, I think, that looking at the pic I've learned plenty of more leasons way not to go with a brushguard for offroading.

Glad to hear it! It was a sad sight to see such a good looking Xterra messed up like that. Tires & ARB needed!

I gotta agree on the "nice looking" comment, my previous ride was blue but I thought I needed a change. I have no idea what I was thinking when I chose silver. Ahhh well, hopefully when I put muds on it I'll feel better

I gotta say the silver looks badass on the XTerra though. I almost wish I had got the silver.... grass is always greener..

Silver is boring!!!!!!!

My '96 Maxima was Super Black........too much trouble to keep clean!

Yellow is just right! Just like my '89 Porsche!

I'm definately going for tiers the "Generals" Nissan put on are junk. It's a 4x4 why would they put on CHEAP steet tiers. I should have changed those right a way.
Lesson One: Trail ready means" NO CRAP" on truck.
