Does someone know where the best spot to tap for an oil temperature gauge is?

A more specific subject line might get you more responses. There is enough BS to wade through on dsm forums without being sidetracked by vague subject lines


It depends on what you are trying to see. You can take it from the pump outlet or after the oil cooler, both on the oil filter housing. Or at the passenger front corner of the head, which is basically the last stop for the oil before it heads back to the pan. There are threaded holes you can use at all three locations, just remember they are going to be metric.
