Has Anyone Done business with these Guys?CooTerPoWer 10-29-2003, 12:22 PM Hey all I found this place near where I live, and I was wondering if anyone would know from past experience how these guys are and if they are assholes or whatever...cuz if they aren't I'd be seriously considering to do a lil purchasing from them, thanks oh, heh by the way, here's their site: http://www.enginereplacement.com/htdocs/specials.htm later ~Chris TheLogikal1 10-29-2003, 01:50 PM if its near your place, why dont you go take a look at it...duh mynismo 10-29-2003, 03:32 PM never heard of them, but an sr20 under 2 grand is really good. i'd consider them if i were you clutch240 10-30-2003, 10:03 AM Be careful though when people try to give you extreamely good prices. You have to think about what are they covering up with the cheap price. Any good deal knows what an Sr runs for and if it's good he will sell it at that because, he knows he can get it and why settle for less. So i am just saying use caution. CooTerPoWer 10-30-2003, 12:09 PM Yea Clutch, that's what I was thinking probably get someone to come with me and check out their engines, ....and yesh Logikal I will go check it out, when I'm back home...I'm at school right now, "duh" ***speaking of which anyone around my area that knows their shit, do you think you can come with me during Thanksgiving week and check the place out? let me know*** ~Chris mynismo 10-30-2003, 04:58 PM also check out venus auto http://www.venus-auto.com/monthly/special.htm they have good deals and are a good company (no matter what anyone says). my one friend ordered his sr from them and he got it quick. can't remember if he got it dirty or clean, but i seen it and right now it's looking VERY nice. he had broken oil pan, sent it back and they gave him a new one. had something else wrong, sent it back and they sent another new one. couple things wrong but for price issues you can't beat them, if you don't have a short time frame... i know he's been after this swap for about 6 months, he's still getting everything to go in all at once in the spring.
