I am posting this for my friend. Me has a 1995 mustang gt and it got into an accident. Both of the airbags came out. We took it to a bodyshop for an estimate and he said a $1000 for EACH airbag!!! Does anyone know where he could get it done cheaper around the detroit michigan area. Or is it possible for him to put it back in by himself or is it too hard. Thanks in advance.

the airbags have to be replaced, they cannot be reused. an airbag cannot just be recharged. why do you think airbags are stolen so often. cause they are expensive to get replaced! it should be covered through his insurance, shouldnt it?
