mr2 noob here

im pretty sure me and my dad are going to pick up this mr2 i was looking at.

91 NA mr2
90k miles, pretty close to 91
cloth, t-tops
5-speed
red with black interior
the dealership wants 4400 for it, only bad thing about the car is that the paint is fading i think, but i can take car of that with a good polish and wax, what do you think?

Also i dont know how to drive stick, so i would be learning on this car, is it easy?

Good luck getting your car.

I learned to drive stick on an MR2 also

Unfortunately it is common for the red ones to fade and I would not be optimistic about polishing/buffing it out. If but could be done, the dealership would have done it. I am pretty sure it is just the nature of the beast.

i think that the car is a little overpriced, but the whole thing about learning how to drive a stick, i also learned on an mr2 and it all depends on where you live. i definatly dont recomend trying to drive it on an busy road right away. i dont care that much for the stick on the mr2 because it uses links to connect to the engine in the back so sometimes it is hard to find third for instance but there are companies that make better links to improve that. my red mr2 is also faded, depending on how bad it is you migh have to get it repainted. i am planning on doing that since i got it buffed and polished and it still wasnt very nice, but if you can find someone who will do it for a good price go for it cause its a hell of a lot cheaper than painting.
