Hey everyone,

My dad has a 1995 Intrepid and the transmission went on it last year. We took it apart to find that 3rd and 4th gear clutches were literally burnt and this was the reason the car went into limp mode. We replaced the clutches and it seems that were are getting symptons of the same thing again. So my dad wants to get a 1997 tranny and swap it in, my question is, is it a direct bolt up or not.

Thanks,

Jacob

yes it should bolt right up there are no differences between the 93-97 4 speedn auto's unless of course its the autostick (then u need a to rewire it) but the main culprit in the trans failure is the incorrect trans fluid
