Is my head gasket going?

Hey all new here....Nice place.

I have a 96 honda civic base 5 speed 4 banger. Yesterday I swear I started smelling antifreeze through the vents. I don't see any signs the the oil and antifreeze are mixing. How else can I tell if my head gasket is going?
What else may cause this if not the head gasket?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Well is it overheating? you should go to a radiator shop or any other shop and get a compression check of the motor or radiator press. You could also get a vacum press.
