just got me a 98 LS S-10 and I just want to know if you guys knows a forum dedicated mainly to S-10's. Just finished installing a single 12 sub and a Pioneer headunit. And anyone here knows an easier way of taking the window knob handle? I'm trying to replace my side speakers.
I've always used an alan wrench to pop that clip off, but I've lost alot of clips that way, cuz they go flyin' off. There's a special tool made to take off the window cranks, but the cheapest one I've seen in town is $30 good luck with hookin up yer system.

I have used and the towel trick ... put a towel under the handle, between the handle and the door panel and grab towel at both ends and shift the towel side to side. OR my new tool: I took and small, straight screwdriver and bent the tip enough to get between the handle and door panel and pop an end off the clip. Haven't lost a clip yet !!!
