Just got Back into a honda need info.Spinalfury 12-07-2001, 12:25 PM Ok for the past few years i havent been driving a honda, my first car was an 87 Crx that i had to sell when i left for boot camp when i got back and went into the reserves i had a ford topaz (sucked) then for the past year and a half ive been driving and still am till i get insurance on my honda an 83 porsche 944. But last week i bought a 92 civic dx hatch for 1600 and i was just wondering if anyone had the 0-60 or 1/4 mile times its auto by the way or if anyone has any experiences they'd like to share on this car or opinions. Mods are as follows for now Apc intake (i know its a short ram but im getting an extension tube for it) Strut Tower Brace Clear Corner Lenses the car needs a paint job because the clear is comming off a few spots but the interior is in awesome condition and it has 120k miles but the only thing wrong with it is the feul pressure regulator im getting today most likely. Rice-Rocketeer 12-07-2001, 12:35 PM Wow, how the heck did you get a 92 Dx for 1600, that's awesome. As 1320 times, In the auto it should be mid-hi 17's. In the 5 speed it should low 17's to Hi 16's. 0-60: Too slow. Didn't even bother timing it. iLLuCiv99 12-07-2001, 01:38 PM anyone know 1/4 mile times for a '99 civic EX auto....?:jump: Rice-Rocketeer 12-07-2001, 05:16 PM Guessitamate mid-low 16's delsolguy 12-08-2001, 01:36 PM I'd say it's more like high-16s for the '99 auto. And SpinalFury, welcome back to the "H" Spinalfury 12-08-2001, 06:14 PM Thanx for the input those were times id expect anyways i did every vacume hose and water hose for squirters and every hose i could do in blue silicone and i bought a chrome battery tie down its lookin tight under the hood :) anyone know of a good looking header that doesnt cost alot like somthin shiny that wont rust.? and maybe somthin that ill get alittle more power to that little motor with.? xivera 12-08-2001, 06:54 PM Are you sure you want a header? (Ever considered a turbo kit/engine swap for real power?) Anyway, you might want to consider a DC Sports or a Landpseed PowerCore header to brighten up the engine bay and to add some excitement into your car. (The PowerCore is currently only available as a 4-2-1 design.) You can get either of these at www.landspeedracing.com. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
