srt-4 tires on 2003 dodge neon r/t??

I got ahold of some factory srt-4 tires and rims. i want to put them on my neon r/t. the inside corner of the rear tire rubs on the shock tower. any advice as to how i will use these will help. mabye spacers? if so how thick can i get them?

i thought the rims on a 2k3 r/t where 16x7 why would you go to 17x6?...
i don't see why you would need spacers.. i have 17x7s on my 2k1 and i've seen people with 18x7.5 w/o spacers.. hell if you wanted to you could fit 20s on a 00+ (i've seen it.. wasn't that great of a look )

*note... now that i think about it.. the tires shouldn't rub unless you've lowered the car.. and if you have you might need to cut the strut stops.

1/8" spacers did the trick. i looked at other neons and the r/t has wider springs in the back. I would have to go real low profile. I used these rims and tires because they only had 10 miles on them and i wanted to make them work.
