Trying to drop the oil pan on 1994 GT,

Has the 6cyl motor. Exhaust system all original, all the way back to the Cat. Appears you have to remove front & rear down pipes (from the exhaust manifold) to make room to slide the pan out. Can anyone verify this? Whats the easiest way to remove the oil pan? Crack the joint just before the Cat. converter? It's a solid piece of rust! I thought this was only going to take a few min. I Was really wrong about that!

Thanx for any help,
Jack
