Headlights suddenly don't work. All other lights working fine. Is it a fuse?

I've got a 87 electra. I actually had a similar problem. Replaced the switch, the fuses, checked the wiring.... nothing. Turned out to be a deffective headlight screwing up the entire system. BTW, always check those fuses.
