Looking for tires for 98 GrandAM SE, have 60000km and think needs to prepare my car for the winter...

Advice for the brand...

I have a 99 grand am gt and when i got it it had good year tires on it. I had soooo many problems with it making all kinds of nasty noises so i got it checked out and everyone thought it was the brakes. But I went and had bridgestone potenza's put on it and now i have no problems at all. Least with the tires anyway. But I would suggest getting the bridgestones, the good years were NOT having a good year :) I think for my tires they were like $115 a piece

Thanxs for ur advice, i have bridgestone on now and this week got them checked, they seems to be fine. but as u mentioned this car definately make some noise... can't pin-point what it is.

now the ABS and Brake light remains on .. but my brakes r ok...any idea...

Check your fuses, a while back on my car I was hooking up my stereo and my those two lights stayed on and it was the fuse....i believe it was for the dome light...

another good option for tires is the falken zirex 512ME...i got these and they work great..i live in montana so i can vouch for the snow capabilities

I personally love the goodyear eagle that was oem on the car, good life from them and a nice ride
