im going to look at a 92 mr2 n/a tomorrow. It has t-tops, 100k miles, and is supposivley loaded. I am located in new york so hopefully it was garaged or stored winters. I will find out the little details tomorrow. Knowing just these facts, assuming that it is in good condition(no major mechanical issues/good body no rust ect.) how much do you think the cars worth or how much would you pay for it? Thanks in advance. Also what should i look out for when i see it tomorrow.

1992 mr2 in good condition 100k shouldnt be worth more than 3-4k
if you are paying more than 3k chances are your getting ripped.
now you said there were mods on the car, but make sure you know how much those mods cost and see if hes over chaRGING U.
anyways good luck with your purchase, dont be hasty. i currently reside in NYC, what part u from?

there are no mods i know of, and the owner says that it is "clean" i figured the price u mentioned would be about what it would cost, hes asking $4900 or BO right now so i will try to work on it. Finding more out today, thanks for the advice. and i am located in liverpool new york which is just outside of syracuse.

i think it should be about 3200. i got my 91 turbo with 130k for 4500, in good condition, with basically everything in it, like power windows, and locks. jekylandhyde, he payed less than 4 grand for his turbo mr2 with about 150k i think.

saw the car today, he wants $4500 for it. Its in perfect condition, 100k miles like said. Red, t-tops, cloth seats, power everything, clean engine no leaks, no rust, dents or scratches. Still havto check the carfax reports, what do you guys think? i dont think i should pay that much considering my es300 from the same year was close to that price with not many more miles. let me know

book value, which i know is lower than they go for, is only 3300, i too would not pay more than 4000 so i think i may havto pass this one up despite it having exactly all the details i wanted and being in my area. They are so hard to find just hope i can find another one in condition like that.

has the car ever gone through any modifications? if it has it decreases the book value. ask him if he has EVER done anything to it
