Ae86

This is my 1986 Toyota Corolla SR5. 117k miles, 4A-C, SOHC, 1.6L non-turbo L4 engine, 5spd manual transmission. It's in very good condition considering that it's so old. I'm not sure what blue this is, but if you look real hard and real close you can see an hint of metal flake. I haven't modded the motor yet, well if you consider taking off the hot air pipe, then I have. Interior: stock carpet; seats; front speakers. Made 6x9 speaker boxes with a 45* bevel on them. 6x9 Roadmaster 3-way speakers with blue neon lites. Exterior mods: chrome exhaust tip, Carrol Shelby Racing wheels with custom valve stem covers (44magnum shells liquid nailed onto the stem caps). Thats pretty much it, besides the 30-watt per channel Clarion cd player I put in (found in trunk), I tried everything I could to get the stock shifter knob off in place of the chrome skull head one, but can't, any suggestions? I think thats all. Motor Mods (planned): K&N round filter with Xtreme flow air lid; full 2'' exhaust system with high-flow cat. converter; HKS muffler. Other planned mods: 2'' drop all-way around, and maybe a TRD wing. But those are just dreams. I'll let the pics do the talking.

Your picks don't work. But anyway I am a big Nissan fan but I still have a lot of respect for the eight six, personally I think it played a key role in the start of drifting. I think you should can those other plans for now, get a fresh JDM 4-AG, do a 2.5 inch exhaust, lighten the flywheel, equalize your intake and exhaust with an intake manifold (Quad Throttle bodies maybee?) If you've got the cash port and polish the head that should be good for maybee 160-170 HP. It's your car though

Re: Ae86

Sorry.... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/656680

New pics. BTW, I'm getting a 2.5'' cat back system fabbed up and in a year or two a 4age will be nicely tucked under a nice CF hood.

Re: Re: Ae86

racer, unfortunatley I don't know where you'd get such parts. however, I suggest creating a new thread asking your same question, but add a little more detail...

Mods done so far: cat cut off, 2.5'' 12'' long extension for performance muffler, 2'' flange back to the 2.5'' extension. 2.5 and 2.25'' piping would not fit over the rear diff, and the factory piping was already hitting the bump stops on the diff. I've also saved the money for either 4ag or 4agze. But which one will cost the least to put in? What kind of parts will I need for it?

Re: Ae86

The 4AG will be the least expensive of the two but it also has about 40hp less. They are both pretty much direct swaps I think. Try http://www.club4ag.com they're nothing but Hachi's
