How to get yourself hyper blinkers ...

This is how you get yourself hyperblinkers ... Rear end a Buick going 40km/h ... sound easy doesn't it?? So here's my question ... rear ended someone on my way home from work tonight ... Now my blinkers are 4x as fast but no bulbs are burnt out ... front two work, my two side markers work and both tails work .... so anyone know why they are blinking 4x as fast?? thanks ...

It sounds like electrical signals are being sent to the bulb faster then normal. There is either some kind of short at the source or the bulb might not be installed all the way.

Only reason people get into accidents there is because everyone gets there, slows down and slams on their brakes for no reason ... It's OK to go faster than 40km/h on there!! ... It was a Buick or Chrysler or some old car like that ... still gotta get him a new bumper though

Sorry to hear about the accident. I think I might be able to help you out with your lights. I'm not positive on this, but I remember reading that when a light is about to blow or is losing contact with its source of electricity the turn signals flash really fast to *hopefully* get the driver's attention so they can change them. I guess you could make sure all your bulbs are in nice and snug. Just a thought .

Thanks ... I finally got it fixed ... I guess it was just a loose connection because I took out the bulb and put it back in and now it works fine ... It was pretty cool having hyperblinkers acutally ..

there is a way to adjust time intervals on your blinkers, commonly reffered to as tweeker blinkers the device is placed inplace of your flashre relay. it is a small bow with a knob and 4 settings usually slow, normal, rally, race. they cost about $50.00 and fairly easy to install.
