Battery dead now running very bad

Hi all
Through a mistake of mine I let the battery on my 2002 Galant GTZ become completely drained....
After giving it a jump it restarted but is running so bad that I cant drive it. Every time I step on the gas it dies. Did draining the battery possibly effect the on board electronics or something...can I reset it somehow?

Thankx in advance for the help

Try replacing your battery [if you havent already] since batteries dont always like being flattened and recharged; It's kinda pot-luck, sometimes you get away with it, sometimes you dont !

If your battery wont hold a proper charge, none of the engine electrics etc will be receiving a good/constant current, which wont bode well for your engine's running.
