Jetta shift linkage

I have a 95 Jetta, and recently the gear shift has become quite loose, giving a lot of play in between gears, and making it difficult to shift quickly. I suspect this is a linkage problem, and I wanted to know if anyone knows of a site that might have a diagram or photo of the shift linkage. I know how to get at it, but I wanted to have some idea of what I'm looking for (what needs to be adjusted) before I start taking things apart.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
