Please Help! Torque Specs for 91 Corolla Needed!
Anyone have the torque specs for a 91 corolla dx? It's got the 1.6 of course, just finished putting the crank in and #1 and #4 rods only to find that they were really tight and couldnt turn it over easily--had to really muscle it. With things loosened up, it turns freely and easily though. I'm thinking I've got the wrong specs maybe because everything with the crank and rods seems to match up. I used 36 pounds for the rods, and 44 for the mains....anyone know if this is correct? I don't have a Chilton or Haynes manual and have no way of getting one right now. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
