i need some net sources/links so i can find the good technical information on the engines VW dosent send here to the US. ive found a racing application that these engines would work great for and unfortunately the american larger displacement ones would not. (VW dosent get specific on their foreign websites)

mainly I need the following:
specs on the 1.0 and 1.4 liter engines (ie: cylinders and valve trains (valve sizes), bore/stroke, etc.) as well as any tuning companies that deal with modifications of these engines.

is the 3 cylinder turbodiesel the only 3 cylinder they make? or is there a gasoline 3 cylinder around somewhere? and if there is i would ESPECIALLY like specs on that particular engine too.

that would be great...
i jsut cant find any info of any kind over here in the US about the VW offerings ovver there...at least anything technical...

mainly in my initial post is what i was interested in.
-the specs of the 1.0 and 1.4 engines. (cyls, bore x stroke/valves & valve size + any companies that have any modification experience of these engines, mainly jus tlooking at how breathable the heads are on them)
-anything at all on the 3 cyl engines...are they all diesel or do they make a 3 cyl petrol engine? and if VW does, i would love to hear the specs on those as well.l..
