Stalling

This Dodge isn't ours but of a hobby friend and he has been everywhere with it so my husband Adrie said he'd try and fix it.
Our friend lives in Belgie and he'd been to several Garages, somewhere a new ECU was placed, This was all before he towed the car here he doesn't dare to drive in it. His car would stop and he wouldn't be able to start it again or after a while it would start only to stop again after a few hundred yards.
Adrie didn't have this problem, he may have solved it while searching.

I hope this all comes through all right as it is a lot to translate, but here comes.
The computer in this car: a 6 cilinder multipoint computer last digits number is 79-7828 single module for a dodge dakota V6 1993.

The problem now: It stalls while driving it, most times after some 15 miles but not necessarily so. it may drive perfectly for days or it may stall after a few miles.
The stalling:Engine runs well- drives well- after the above say 15 miles the engine dies, gives two hard loud bangs and drives on. We can never really say how long the stalling will stay away.

Tested and Changed parts: Adrie installed a new ignition coil - fuel filter - distribution cap and rotor - two relays in fuse-box of the pump + ECU tested and replaced he made a ground straight to the battery - tested all connections and tensions and also the fuel pump pressure is tested all sparkplug cables are tested and three are replaced. All sparkplugs are replaced.

Test-drive 1, with scope ignition falls out - Ejector signal stays.
Test-drive 2, ignition falls out - Tension on ignition coil stays.
Hal sensor signal stays.
Test-drive 3, ignition falls out - Tension on ignition coil stays.
Inductive sensor stays.

Conclusion: Adrie thinks that the ignition module in the ECU is damaged
Or do you know what else this could be?!?!?!?!

Who can help him????????????? We really would be glad with all suggestions that can lead us to a solution.

Thanks for reading this.
Best regards of Adrie and Jeanne Oostvogels
