350 with 4.3 pistons

im building A 350 FOR a 79 malibu its A FOUR BOLT I PUT 4.3 SHORT
SKIRT PISTONS IN IT,a 280 comp Cam,roller rockers,AN air gAP intake,
AND 041 HEads. ANY COMMENTS ON THIS SET UP?

well, the fact that you put in the 4.3L V6 pistons in the motor makes little difference.

The 5.7L and the 4.3L share the same bore and stroke. Thus can use the same pistons and rods... the 4.3L V6 is called the 3/4 350... cause thats what it is.. a 350 V8 minus 2 cylinders.


Besides that... seems like it'll be a pretty decent combo.
