I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and I lost my remote, Since then I've bought one on Ebay. Do you know how to program the remote to the car?.

Are you SURE it's the correct remote first of all? GM has many different remotes that look the same but are actually different.

Head over to www.clubgp.com There were instructions posted for remote reprogramming once. They didn't seem to work for everyone, but you can give it a shot.

I know it's the right remote, Because I called the dealer and they gave me the part#10246215 for the remote and it matched the one I had before. Thanks I'll try the Web site WWW.CLUBGP.COM

remember, the biggest problem most people have with programming their remotes is the step where you turn the ignition from acc, to off then back to acc. IF you do this too slowly, you will not enter programming mode.
