Question Escort, FUEL FILTER

Other than needing a hand the size of a child and double jointed, ANY INSIDER HELP ON CHANING THE FUEL FILTER ON A 99 ESCORT?? Changed plenty on numerous cars, some easy, some took hours and left no skin on the knuckles........

If I remember correctly, you'll need a special tool that wraps around the hose and inserts into a ring inside. It costs about 20$

Take the air box off, dont even try to fight around it. Its a little tough, but you can access the screw clamp, and both plasic clips from the top fo the vehicle. A long quarter-inch drive extension and 5/16 universal socket makes things much easier though.
