Tail lights going crazydave99 09-22-2003, 11:44 AM Hey guys, I recently bought a 90 Accord EX-R and the tail lights seem to be turning on and off without me finding out the reason for it... Here it goes... I'm thinking if it was the fuse then it wouldn't turn on at all right? Anyway it goes on and off (even when I have the headlights on). I read in the manual that if the parking is on the regular tail lights will stay off even if the engine is on and otherwise if the parking is released and the engine is on the tail lights should go on... On the other hand if the headlights are on the tail lights should be on all the time (which is not happening ) A few times I drove off for 5 mins with the parking break on, and I think this might be a contibuting factor: I mean the parking break and tail lights relationship. Anyway what could this be, I'm going nuts with this? Thank you, Dave 92lx 09-22-2003, 01:00 PM sounds like some kind of short. The parking brake thing, I'm not terribly familar with because in the States, the parking brake doesn't trigger any kind of lights (at least in my model year, I think some of the 90-91s might have been different?). Anyhow, Check the switch for it, it may just need replacement. Just my :2cents: - Nathan Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
