My new engine, b18b1, is about to come in and i want to replace the headgasket while its sitting in my garage. I want to know what would be the best gasket for it?

for turbo or n/a?

If for turbo I would just keep it stock unless the engine is built, but for n/a I would replace it with a thin one and or do headwork and mill the head. Now that would be a pretty potent non v-tec. This would be the time to do that because the engine will be out and apart.

then ur best bet is while the motor is apart have headwork done n get thinner head gasket....also u should jus pnp the intake manifold n throttle body while ur at it.

get either aftermarket or try to find a JDM B16B headgasket. 11.8 Compression! :evillol:

Actually the B16B has a 10:8:1 compression ratio and it's not because of the headgasket alone.

yea sorry, i meant 10.8. And no, the headgasket wont do everything, but it will help.
