Handling problems

I have a 2000 Jetta GL w/2.0 motor. It recently developed some serious handling issues. The car seems to torque steer very badly and gets worse the faster you go. Step on the gas and it pulls to the right, let off and it pulls to the left. Im talking SERIOUS pull. Had the alignment checked, replaced the lower a arm bushings, rotated the tires and no improvement. Motor and trans mounts seem ok....and Ideas would be appreciated.

Front Wheel Drive Sucks..That's why I drive Quattro.

I, had the same problem with a Volvo with the same problem. Check your front axles for failure, it seems as if the power is not getting to the ground evenly, which is a common problem with front wheel drive vehicles. In the future, you should invest in some aftermarket suspension.
