Question 84 Monte SS

Hey peeps,

I just recently bought a 1984 monte carlo SS. it's been totaly rebuilt. the engine is an ebelbrock 350 w/ RPM performer intake and carb. without going into too much detail he said it was running 11:1 compression on forged pistons. he also said that he had it hooked up to a 125shoot of nitro. i was wondering if it could be possible to test what he told me with out ripping the block apart.

any advice would be apreciatied!

thanks,
John

no way to tell if it was recently rebuilt or the compression ratio without tearing it apart. you can check if the motor has good compression with a compression tester. all cylinders should be within 10% of each other
