Question Questions regarding my '95 Intrepid

I currently have a 3.3 in my car, and I was wondering if their was anyway to dramatically increase horsepower and performance?
Or if it would be cheaper to drop a 3.5 in it (if it's possible).
Any advice is will be appreciated.

it is possible to do the motor swap....but you wont have much of a gain in performance for the amount of work that is involved.....only about 50 hp.
