Your Grandparents cars, did you keep it?
My paretns did for me, A well maintained White 1958 Chevy Impala 2-door sedan, with one of the rare 258 hp Turbo aspirated V8, great collectable.

my dad is taking care of it at the moment. A blue 1978 cutlass supreme. He drove quite a few but that is the one everyone calls
baba jis(grandpas) car.

well my grandpa is stlla live and well (and still slammin beers with the rest of us) but when he is gone i will have a 57' dodge d100 pickup with a built and blown 360 in it and o yes i will keep it and pass it down to my kids and so on.....

In 1974 I inherited my grandfather's 1960 Chrysler New Yorker 2-door HT with a 413ci V8. I drove it for four months until my mother saw firsthand how fast I was driving it.  Then I was pressured to part with it.

Interesting, what engine is that?
According to specs on the '58 there wasn't an engine listed with those hp figures, not to mention the only turbo I found mention of was a 350 turbo hydro transmission and tri-power induction.

My boyfriend's parents have three Model A's that we are going to get when they die. One of them has about 20K miles on it.
You can see two of them in the garage in this picutre.

Model A's are really great cars. You'd be surprised how well they can cope with modern traffic, even with mechanical brakes (if these two haven't been upgraded yet) Hope you keep them, and take good care of them when you get them.

It was actually a 250hp Turbo-Thrust V8, 348 cu. in., 9.5:1 compr ratio barrel carburetion with Turboglide, Powerglide, and Synchro-Mesh. My grandfather gave me an advertisement he recieved in the mail about it, which was how he was interested in getting one, and he told me which one it was on the advertisement, since it showed the engines on the card.

Nevermind about the whole 20K miles on it... We went to his parent's house today and there is actually a little over 7K original miles on the one Model A.

Hmmm. All my grandparents had were a 3cyl 1980-something diahatsu charade, and a 1960-something Austin 1800.
The Austin has gone to God (they lived next to the beach), but I'm lining up one to build as a tribute car, with a Windsor in it.
Meanwhile the Charade is in the process of being made in to possibly a 4wd with turbo gear in it.
Dad says "Grandad would be so proud"

My grandpa doesnt have any classic cars to hand down to me, but i wish he had kept his Jeep from WWII. That had to be the first custom jeep in history because he had built a custom wooden enclosure around the frame to accommodate his family.
