Making your brakes firmer on your GPGT?QuiksilverGT 09-12-2003, 07:20 AM I was wondering how i could go about making the brake petal firmer and a little more responsive, I have a 99 GT but I have driven other GT's and GTP's and my brakes feel a little softer, is it the pads? the dealer put new ones on when I bought the car, is it the rotors, or brake lines, or fluid, someone help!!!! supreme_style21 09-15-2003, 04:55 PM If you ask me.. it's just GM. They've never quite been able to perfect their braking system. But if you want, you can bleed the brake lines and get any possible air out.. Ripn12s 09-15-2003, 08:56 PM Ive heard that Stainless Steel Brake Lines help firm up the braking. http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=WB4009&Product_Count=12&Category_Code=GPSUSP oakiefan 09-18-2003, 10:33 PM If this article doesn't answer your question I'm not sure it's the brakes anymore... http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/editors/technobabble/0212scc_techno/ Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
