turn the key to the "on" position, but do not start the car. Then pump the gas pedal 3 times in a row.. that should reset it

I tried the pump the gas thing and here's what happened: 3 times and the side marker lamps went off, 4 times turned them back on. But now when i use my remote start (viper) the lights dont flash like they used to. And when i set my alarm, the marker lights flash. before i tried this stuff, the marker and head lights flashed when i set the alarm. Wierd.

Anyone know where i can find a book that would tell me about resetting warning lamps, etc.?

thanks again

Re: change oil soon

You can turn the DRLs off one of two ways. YOu can either pull the DRL fuse, or you can install a bypass switch from www.zzperformance.com

Wink NO Problem

After changing the engine oil, With the ignition in RUN but the engine off, Fully push and release the accelerator pedal slowly three times within five seconds. If the CHG OIL SOON light is flashes, the system is resetting. Turn the key to off and then start the vehicle. if it don't work repeat the procedure.

Good Luck
