Sorry for all these posts, but We have a regular impala, and my dad and I were thinking of getting the Wing on our's like the LS version. But the wing proberly weighs about 10+ pounds, and were not sure if the trunk release will work because it is so weighed down.

What do you guy's think about it?

I think it would work because it's the same trunk release and all. But just to make sure, add something on top of the trunk that weighs about the same. Maybe some weights wrapped in a towel(so it doesn't scratch the trunk lid). Then try to open the trunk.
