shaky neon

hello all.. i dont know if anyone can help me.. but recently when i've been driving my neon if i even try to floor it the entire front end of the car starts to vibrate along with the steering wheel and shit.. i really dont know whats wrong with it so any ideas what could be up with it would be great.. thanx

its not a cadillac!

it might be the motor mounts / engine mounts movin around...or tire alignment might be off...tire pressure?
one of my friends also said it might also be the transmission slipping if its an automatic.
ill repost and look through the repair manual to see if i can find anything else

If you have an auto tranny, check your fluid level. If it is slightly slow this could happen.

Sounds like the tranny is slipping. Hopefully you have a garage that you can trust and will tell you if it just needs service or if it truely needs a rebuild. If it is a rebuild it's gonna cost ya $1000-$2000...Cha Ching!
