my new beemer

i just picked up my '95 325i yesterday morning from the auction lot, and i have a few questions.

first of all, its an automatic and there is a switch next to the shifter marked "A" on one end and "M" on the other. My first thought was Automatic/Manual, I tried looking in the manual but there is no mention of it.

whihc brings me to my second point, i think i have the wrong manual, cause it only mentions 318 models and 328 models, yet i have a 325. Did they even make a 328 in 1995?

And does anyone know or have any clue how much a spare key goes for?

thanks alot

new beemer owner,
Scott

I don't know about your car, but the last time I checked, it was like $125! It has to be ordered from Munich and shipped in. They are laser cut and very intricate. Good luck!

Beemer?!?!??!

Just to let you know the nickname for a BMW car is Bimmer. A beemer is a BMW motorcycle. Not trying to be anal, but when your bragging about your car to your friends, you wanna sound like you know what your talking about. Hope you enjoy the car! (not that there is much chance you won't!)

Congrats on the new car man. Can't really help you out to much though. Don't know to much about the e36s. I know a bit about e46s though.
