Tamiya Pearl White

Hi

I just ordered a Aoshima Bomex RX-7 (not the f&f copycat) and was wondering what Pearl white look like ? I have never worked with Pearl paint.. what is it ? metalic white ?

also, any sugestion of color for this kit ? (need to be in light color)

Not metallic but close. HMMM how to explain. Oh I know ever see one of the Audis with yellow or white paint that looks like it has very fine refelctive particles in it? Thats pearl.

Yeah it is very hard to explain.... a Pearl color does not really have a base, so pearl colors are usually clear. So if ur painting ur RX7 Pearl White, u should get Matt white and use it as a base coat, or a alternative would be white primer.

Pearl coating is best used as an overcoat over a base color.
