I D movie and a fourth season??
I heard rumors of a Initial D movie coming out. Plus they're thinking of coming out with a fourth season. You guys in the states might be getting I.D. in september. I think its the eigo dubbed version, but it should be all 39 episodes.

Even though I live in the US I say NO TO INITIAL D COMING TO AMERICA!!!!!!!! It's just not freakin right . And I have also heard that a real live action movie of Initial D is supposed to come out also, but even if they do keep it in Japan and also get the right actors and actresses, those are the things that are really important, I'm sure that they can get the cars and drifting down. And if they come out with a 4th stage I will be one of the first people to import it over here.

Haha Fuck I bet they will put something like that in Not to mention they completely fucked with the names too didn't Itsuki is now Iggy Takumi is just Tak, I think it's all the same names from the Arcade games.
Sad thing about the music I'm really getting into it I got some right now and I'm listening to Non-stop mega mix. Ohh well I will stick to my Japanese Sub-titled versions.

i shouldve posted this early but the link no longer works, you need to subscribe to it. but luckily i copied what the article said. its looks like the Initial D Movie is back on track but it doesnt mention anything about Andy Lau. weather or not hes settled with his legal issues or if they found a replacement to play Bunta.
Tsui Hark readies Chinese pair
Silvia Wong in Hong Kong
14 August 2003 04:00
Film Workshop’s Tsui Hark is lining up two US$3.9m (HK$ 30m) Chinese-language dramas to be directed by Tsui himself later this year and early next year.
The first is titled Initial D, adapted from a hit Japanese comic book of the same name, which tells the story of a delivery boy with a prowess for street racing. Tsui is working on the script with Cheung Chi Sing (Fighter's Blues)
Location scouting is underway, but Tsui says that the film will probably be set in China as well as in Japan because of some snow scenes. Produced by Media Asia, the Cantonese film is scheduled to shoot in late October. All parts are in the final stages of casting with Edison Chen attached to play one of the lead roles.
