Unhappy X5 absorber

I own a X5 3.0, and it's very good to drive except that it's very bumpy on the road... It makes a very uncomfortable ride.. Does any one has the same problem?

The X5 has twin-tube gas-pressure shock absorbers, optimized for mild off-road driving. Individual tastes vary, but the settings may be a little rough for some.

Cool X5 Shocks

Can't believe you think the ride is 'bumpy'. I've only had my X5 3.0 for a couple of months and the ride is great....maybe the Aussie specs are different, but if you've had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd or Ford 'Exploder' Ltd as I have you'll know that the Bimmer is great for ride.

Mind you the sound system in the Aussie version (Alpine) is not up to standard for a A$100,000 vehicle.

Ciao from DownUnder..
