ok lets start of with I have a 1990 Corrado G60 yellow with black interior, I Live in Orlando, FL Just got it and need some help!
- my first question is what coolant temp should i expect to see on my coolant temp gauge after and during city driving and about how long should it take to get to that temperature, also remember I Live on the sun here in Orlando,FL or at least it feals that way sometimes. Im asking this because the idiot light above the coolant temp guage wont stop flashing.
- second what is the average oil temp after and during city driving?
- now more importantly the car has over 120,000 miles on it, Im sure the Timing belt/chain has been changed at least once im hopeing, because im sure it's in need of another one by now. Is there a simple way to check the timeing belt or chain which ever it is? And how would I do that. Because I have heard tales of G60 blowing apart or worse when a timing belt or chain goes so I though I should atleast check it. Now I have worked on BMW's and other german cars that have had little plates u remove and are able to stick ure finger inside and check the timing chain that was is it the same some where on the corrado or was i wishfully thinking?
- And my last question is a 90 g60 corrado A/C r-12 Freon or is it R-134a because I need to recharge it!
I NEED URE GUYS/GALS HELP as u can see im extremely new to corrados and unfortunately the very expensive offical owners manual and repair guide CD doesnt work on my computer so I'm up $hits creeek without a pattel, i need ure help!?! PLEASE HELP!
