Maxin' out the stock rims?NewbieD 11-30-2001, 03:27 AM I'm still shopping around for some good mud tires..What is the largest size tire that will fit on my stock wheels without lifting my X? I'm not in a big hurry to shave any plastic off my truck yet either...I would want them to fit as my spare too....and I have a hitch. rrdstarr 11-30-2001, 03:31 AM No trimming and no torsion bar adjustment! VaderX 11-30-2001, 09:03 AM I am gonna have to disagree here. With 31 inch tires you will still have to trim the plastic. Also at full articulation they will rub a teeny little bit. And in back I have a couple very tiny rub spots in the wheel well. rrdstarr 11-30-2001, 01:36 PM Fudge'em! Buy new tires that are stock size then! scott.com 11-30-2001, 02:10 PM Could go with a 30x9.5-15 (No trimming) I would go one size up to a 31x10.5-15. A bit more protection and minimal trimming.
