Installed Water Pressure Gaugecmxterra 08-20-2003, 11:10 AM After my little problem with the fried engine I decided to install a water pressure gauge. Seeing as the Xterra will not tell you if you dump all your coolant this should (God forbid it ever happen again) give you warning before the engine get fried. It is a mechanical gauge so you have to run a capillary tube to your coolant system. http://www.swxc.org/images/water1.jpg I did the install last night and from start to finish it took me about and hour and a half. Other shots.. and plumbing.. http://www.swxc.org/images/water2.jpg http://www.swxc.org/images/water3.jpg http://www.swxc.org/images/water4.jpg Schludwiller 08-20-2003, 03:22 PM Nice post. There was a guy last year who had a nice 3-cluster gauge set that he put in his center column (around the cigarette lighter/ash tray). Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
