Old man Emurrdstarr 11-29-2001, 10:13 PM I see Overlander.com carries OME shocks for the Xterra at $300. Has anyone bought OME shocks? http://www.overlander.com/pages_misc/contents_fr.tpl?cart=30899058762317891 superjens 11-29-2001, 11:41 PM I believe Chip is. ChuckH 11-30-2001, 01:37 AM Yes, Chip has them. Are you thinking of selling your Bilsteins or something? Actually, I've kind of been wanting to drive or ride in Chip's truck to see how the OME's ride and drive. I think Chip likes them. Schludwiller 11-30-2001, 01:45 AM Remember that Chips shocks aren't built for the Xterra, just "well they're close, so let's try them". Not that we haven't done that for Rancho or the rear long Bilsteins. Philosopher 11-30-2001, 12:51 PM FYI - Flyin' S told me way back when that the OME shocks are definitely not valved for rockcrawling in any sense ... but they're great on washboard roads. Mosi 12-04-2001, 02:16 AM I have the OMEs on my Rover, does that count? :finger: Kerensky97 12-04-2001, 02:31 AM Already bragging about the 'Rover huh?:p rrdstarr 12-04-2001, 03:00 AM Change your signature!!!!! BAH! superjens 12-07-2001, 03:13 PM Time to pull it apart and sell it for pieces, Mosi. Tell ya what, I'll take that ARB and locker and tires off you for $500. I know, I know, I'm doing you a favor, that's ok I like to help out. ;) Schludwiller 12-07-2001, 05:25 PM Originally posted by Mosi I know! I have only had 1 tiny nibble so far. We're kind of odd for taking our new trucks offroad in the first place. Most offroaders are probably looking for something around 8K or less that they can mod themselves. If they don't offroad, they would be scared of what you had done to the truck. Philosopher 12-10-2001, 12:25 PM Originally posted by Schludwiller I dunno. Sorry Mosi but I doubt you'll ever get what it's worth. Mike H 12-10-2001, 01:05 PM As long as nobody is immediately interested in your X, sell the goodies off of it. Just buy some beer and invite the PNWX fellas over for some wrenching. Its a hassle, but at least you can recoup some cash and maybe you will get more bites if it looks more stock and less trail used. Hell, you could probably unload many parts to the PNWX members alone.
