I see Overlander.com carries OME shocks for the Xterra at $300. Has anyone bought OME shocks?

Yes, Chip has them. Are you thinking of selling your Bilsteins or something? Actually, I've kind of been wanting to drive or ride in Chip's truck to see how the OME's ride and drive. I think Chip likes them.

Remember that Chips shocks aren't built for the Xterra, just "well they're close, so let's try them". Not that we haven't done that for Rancho or the rear long Bilsteins.

FYI - Flyin' S told me way back when that the OME shocks are definitely not valved for rockcrawling in any sense ... but they're great on washboard roads.

I have the OMEs on my Rover, does that count? :finger:

I know! I have only had 1 tiny nibble so far. I put it in the paper a few days ago and not one call yet! BAH!

I dunno. Seems like it being an offroad rig would be a negative for joe-car-buyer. We're kind of odd for taking our new trucks offroad in the first place. Most offroaders are probably looking for something around 8K or less that they can mod themselves. If they don't offroad, they would be scared of what you had done to the truck.

Indeed. Sorry Mosi but I doubt you'll ever get what it's worth.

As long as nobody is immediately interested in your X, sell the goodies off of it. Just buy some beer and invite the PNWX fellas over for some wrenching. Its a hassle, but at least you can recoup some cash and maybe you will get more bites if it looks more stock and less trail used.

Hell, you could probably unload many parts to the PNWX members alone.
