Question 383 Stroker in a 95 Tahoe

Has anyone ever put a 383 stroker kit in a tahoe 350 before? Would I need to have computer/TBI adjustments done or would it handle the increased displacement? I would use stock heads/cams ect. I just need the lower end gone through and would like to beef it up a tad for more torque. Any thoughts/suggestions?

The stock heads can not handle the increased bore of the block, you would need to port them out and install larger intake and exhaust valves.
