Will stock hummer wheels fit on a chevy 8 lug? I have a 1997 crew cab one ton and thought about putting hummer wheels and tires on it. Not sure on the back spacing.

I would imagine the wheels would fit as they are based on the GM heavy duty truck platform. There shouldn't be any backspacing problems as the fitment is GM to GM. You might want to call your local dealer and ask if the offset and so forth remained the same for the pre-2000 models though. That's just my 2 cents.

If you're looking at H2 wheels, the wheels we offer for your truck have an offset that is 7mm less than the offset of the wheels we offer for the H2 so the H2 wheels would be 7mm to far in . . . rub on the suspension.

well, my truck is lifted 3', but the back spacing for the H2 wheels shows to be 5-9/16" and the offset is 20mm...I think that means that there would be too much tucked to the inside and the large tires would rub???

Yes it would probably rub - depending on how much clearance the suspension allows.
