sr20 with both (supercharged and turbocharged)HWA 08-09-2003, 08:32 PM i've got a rx4 with a sr20 supercharged and turbocharged.i'm getting 760 hp. does anyone have a similar setup?let me know how is it going. mynismo 08-09-2003, 10:03 PM is it running yet around the streets or is it just the engine block?? it looks like you have it on some bricks in the backyard or something since a couple hoses aren't hooked up. ive never heard of an sr get above 500. Fliquer 08-10-2003, 12:15 AM I doubt anyone around here has anything CLOSE to that kind of setup. Check around www.freshalloy.com. Nevertheless, very impressive. christofurr 08-10-2003, 01:06 AM Originally posted by mynismo is it running yet around the streets or is it just the engine block?? it looks like you have it on some bricks in the backyard or something since a couple hoses aren't hooked up. ive never heard of an sr get above 500. I've got a magazine article about a guy in Australia with an S15, running 732bhp. I've yet to scan it up, but I'll get around to it someday soon. RalphCare 08-10-2003, 02:07 AM is that a 510 its sitting in? Suislide 08-10-2003, 02:46 AM Originally posted by RalphCare is that a 510 its sitting in? Mazda RX-4. where do you hail from dude? that's some impressive car and some impressive power. what are you building it for? probably drag with that kind of HP number... twincharged is insane. must've set you back a good bit too, i bet... oh, and SR's can easily make over 500. even the Signal S15 has around 550-600. klohiq 08-10-2003, 02:59 AM Is there any real reason to twincharge? I might just be ignorant, but a single turbo or twin turbo setup (non-sequential) seems like it would add a lot more power. I mean for high power applications wouldn't a quad turbo really be better than a super/turbo setup? The Escudo and EB110 both use quad turbos (non-sequential!) and while they aren't drag cars, they both can pull an impressive 1/4. Just wondering...and by the way HWA, nice sr20  Ssom 08-10-2003, 03:45 AM WOW!!!!!! I don't think I've ever seen Super AND Turbo Charged before!!!!! Wouldn't that be murder on the Engine???? with all that compressed air HWA 08-10-2003, 04:16 AM Originally posted by mynismo is it running yet around the streets or is it just the engine block?? it looks like you have it on some bricks in the backyard or something since a couple hoses aren't hooked up. ive never heard of an sr get above 500. yeah it's all finished and running.sorry that was the only pic i had of the engine.will take a new pic soon.
