Unhappy Auto lock problems 98 silhouette (random locking)

My Silhouette is locking all the time without hitting the buttons. In a single trip the locks lock several hundred times.
I have tried the following:
Disconneted the battery for 1 hour
Pulled the BCM fuse and tried to reprogram the locking sequence
Changed the relay fuses for lock and unlock or A and B
Changed the switches on both doors
I am assuming that the BCM is going bad- Question is how do I get to it? or how do I reset it? How difficult is it to replace?
or Any suggestions would be helpfull?

Look for a short/ground under the dash panel somewhere. My 02 did the same thing 6 months after we bought it. Service manager said it was a pinched wire. I do not have the service manuals yet, so I cannot be more specific. Hope this helps.
