I have the Pro-kit w/ KYB- AGX's & would like to test out the Cup kit. 94tegRS 08-08-2003, 09:20 PM I want the eibach pro kit with the KYB AGX, not an otion so ill post instead of vote. I was outof it i guess. Prelewd 08-11-2003, 03:07 PM Neuspeed sports and tokico illuminas. Ace$nyper 09-04-2003, 03:39 PM Koni Yellow and Skunk2 coils so i'm not voting cause i'm not listed. njaccord 09-29-2003, 01:47 AM got some kyb agx set on 2 in front and 4 in rear. and tein s tech springs. pretty nice ride. could be a little smoother though. i voted for eibach and kyb agx. i hear good things about eibach but i found tein springs for cheaper. BullShifter 09-29-2003, 02:01 AM The ride will be smoother if you set the rear @ a lower level. #4 is not meant for comfort - while it also reduces the shocks life akina_speedstars 09-29-2003, 10:22 AM On Gran Turismo, I set the rear shocks with less resistance than the fronts for a Honda Civic. I cranked down on the rears and that actually made me have less control in the sharp corners. Of course, in real life, you will want to do something different. Well it all depends on your body type (coupe, sedan or hatchback) and althought GT3 is pretty real life in many aspects, It's not totally correct. the Teins on my Civic (16-way dampening adjustment) my car seems to handle it's best with the rears 4 clicks STIFFER than the fronts, and this considering I have NO front swaybar, and a thick 22mm Integra Type-R rear swaybar and I still need stiffer biased dampening at the rear than the front. I also like my car feeling neutral where it can oversteer as easily as it'll understeer. csaddict 10-13-2003, 06:55 AM I have H&R Stage II and Tokico Illuminas. They ride very nice. cwoblong 10-20-2003, 06:59 AM THe cup kit.LOt of project cars using them. Prelewd 10-20-2003, 08:35 PM THe cup kit.LOt of project cars using them. How do you like those? H&R is one company I haven't heard anything bad about. BullShifter 10-21-2003, 12:38 AM H&R is great stuff - its German :bigthumb: People I know with the Cup kits, springs, coilovers are all 100% happy. Miataracer 01-13-2004, 02:16 AM what about that Koni RSK matched suspension set? anyone have those? T!mmy 02-24-2004, 09:58 AM I've heard alot about koni yellows... Would you say this setup is still better? KYB AGX w/ Eibach prokit BullShifter 02-25-2004, 12:16 AM Better than what, Koni RSK? I would say NO. Reason being they are made by the SAME company designed to function with each other. freekinfreak 04-22-2004, 06:39 PM I have heard a lot of bad things about KYB in general. I have heard that they blow pretty easily.Sry to offend anyone. I think Tokicos are a better product then KYB. udelblue 06-01-2004, 01:15 PM go to carreview.com they review aftermarket products and i second that KYB have a reputation for blowing several months after intallation KrazyD 07-03-2004, 11:27 AM n00b question, which of those combos give the smoothest ride but stiff handling when needed? Beastiek2 07-04-2004, 06:02 PM n00b question, which of those combos give the smoothest ride but stiff handling when needed? Tein SS only cause its adjustable for stiffness smooth ride and height B16 SiRII 07-06-2004, 04:42 PM I'm riding the Tokico HPs and the Neuspeed Race springs. 100% happy with them. gismo0184 09-20-2004, 11:07 PM i just bought eibach pro kit springs, eibach anti-roll kit (sways), and kyb gr2 shocks for my 97 teg. is this a good set up?? do i need a camber kit with the 1.3" drop?? are the sways as good as i've heard?? and would it be a good idea to get a master bushing set?? BullShifter 09-21-2004, 12:46 AM I personally would have went with at least KYB AGX's, but overall not a bad setup. The Pro Kit wont throw the camber drastically off were camber kits are a must. Lower it, have it aligned and if negative camber is a serious issue then get camber kits. You should be safe. Eibach sways are good but over-priced IMO. Poly bushing kits can make a great improvement if your not worried about a harsh squeaky ride. The poly gets worse as the temp. drops. If you live were freezing is an issue I would not install them in a daily driver. Mugen rubber bushings are the way to go for a daily driver IMO. Classicrocjunkie 09-22-2004, 11:20 PM I've got the Pro kit on GR-2's and works great for me...maybe some point down the road i will get AGX Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
