BullShifter Normal reputation
It will do the same thing as any other intake. Not much, besides some noise.

you could just get an Ebay intake and put a K&N filter on it

From what I understand...a CAI (Cold Air Intake) is "supposed" to increase your Hp...I'm not sure on the specifics of how this is done except for the general idea of how colder air is better for engine performance...
I apologize if I sound incompetent but I don't want to overstep my bounds and sound like a know it all...
I'm sure a SRAI (Short Ram Air Intake) is based off of the same principals...

Exclamation INTAKES

well as for intakes ive done some reaserch on em and so far from what i know injen and aem seem to be the best from test after test ive read about...but the best filter overall is k and n exspecially if you use the fipk (fuel inection performance kit) which consists of oil and cleaner (dunno?) either way...it just comes down to name brands and what you like under your hood...personally for me...injen is the one to go with with a k and n air filter...about CA vs SR well if you get a cold air get a thing to block water from entering it,they cost around 50 bucks or so....but whatever its up to you...thats my 5 cents

LOL...Nice avatar projecktzero ....where'd ya get it...I made one just like it!
re: I think your referring to the bypass valve on the CAI...it helps but you want to avaoid taking your car for a swim anyway...that's about the only way you'll suck up water unless one has taken out the wheel well inner-lining!

Thanks man...I appreciate your concern...my one wish is that we find out who the murder(s) are and bring them to justice...my version of justice would be cheap...one bullet per person...cheapest justice possible.

The bypass valve won't do much of anything unless your intake is totally submerged in water, hydrolock can still occur with one....one of the reasons i have a SMF
